Mr. Brad Garrett Spence, age 37 of Murphy, Texas passed away on March 7, 2005, in Farmers Branch, Texas. He was born December 31, 1967 in San Antonio, Texas to Charles Esco and Henry Etta (Brown) Spence. He graduated from Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio. Mr. Spence was a horticulturist. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1995 with a Bachelor degree in horticulture. He was a member of the Hillcrest Church in Dallas, Texas and a former member of the Broadway Church of Christ in Lubbock, Texas. Mr. Spence is survived by his parents, Charles and Henry Etta Spence of Murphy, Texas; brother, Chad Spence and wife, Michelle Spence of Plano, Texas; sister, Regina Scheppler and husband, Richard of Lubbock; 10 nieces and nephews; and several other loving relatives. He was preceded in death by his sister, Angelia Elaine Spence in 2003. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 10, 2005 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Pastor Joe Slaughter officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
