Mrs. Bonnie Lee Souter, age 66, of McKinney, Texas passed away December 22, 2008, at her home. She was born on December 28, 1941, in San Antonio, Texas to Lawrence C. and Olivia (Perez) Chandler. On August 13, 1960, she married Thomas W. Souter in San Antonio. Mrs. Souter grew up in San Antonio. She was a member of the Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen, Texas. Bonnie enjoyed mentoring young women and was actively involved in the Women’s Ministry at CCBC. She is survived by her husband, Thomas “Windol” Souter of McKinney; children, Diana Leah Voges and husband, Michael of San Antonio; Tammy Jo Souter of Houston, Texas and Deborah Lynn Fehrenbach and husband, William also of Houston; grandchildren, Joshua Bryant Souter, Bethany Christine McPhail, Emily Danielle Voges and Kristen Ashley Fehrenbach; brother, Lawrence C. Chandler of Lavernia, Texas; and a host of other loving family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 26, 2008, at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church, 1015 State Highway 121 in Allen. The family will receive friends for a visitation an hour prior to the service at the church. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2008, at Mission Burial Park South in San Antonio. Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
