Mr. Bolivar Omar Ramos, Jr., age 75, of Whitewright, Texas, passed away on November 16, 2006 at his home. He was born February 25, 1931, in Manhattan, New York to Bolivar Omar and Adela (Torres) Romas, Sr. On March 8, 1973 he married Blanca Escobar in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Mr. Ramos served his country in the US Marine Corp and US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bonham, Texas. He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Blanca; son Gus Ramos of New Brunfels, Texas; daughters Mimi Maxvill of Plano, TX and Juanita Peck of Bells, Texas; sisters Dolores Nelms of Beacon, New York and Linda Courtney of Rowley, NC; grandchildren Katrina, Kimberly, Nick, Wyatt, Morgan, Allison, and Hayden; and great-grandchild Andrew. His brother, Innocencio Cambrelen, Jr., preceded him in death. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 18, 2006, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Bishop Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Mr. Ramos will lie in state, Friday, November 17, 2006, at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home with the family present to receive friends after 6:00 PM.
