Bobbye Nell Parks, age 68, of Princeton, Texas passed away January 16, 2006, in McKinney, Texas. She was born May 21, 1937, in McKinney to Robert Leo and Corine (Spradin) Odle. On March 5, 1955, she married Pate Parks in Princeton. Mrs. Parks was a cook for North End Grocery Store in Princeton for 27 years. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Pate Parks; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Brenda Parks of Van Alstyne, Texas, Ronnie and Terri Parks of Nashville, Tennessee, J.R. and Valerie Parks of Tye, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Keith Searcy of Princeton; sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Terry Parks of Howe, Texas, James and Kathleen Parks of Prosper, Texas, Jeffrey and Teresa Parks of Princeton; step- daughter, Rene Anderson and husband, Roy of Anna, Texas; 21 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Bill Odle and wife, Neta of Killeen, Texas, Mike Odle of McKinney, Texas and Richard Odle of Copeville, Texas; sisters, JoAnn Kirkland and husband Paul of Garland, Texas, Georgie Barnett of Minnesota, Barbara Yarbrough and husband, George of Goliad, Texas, LaDonna McBride and husband, Willie and Brenda Petty and husband, Roy all of Princeton. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Annette McAdams. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Stan Fike and Rev. George Yarborough officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
