Bobby Jim Story of McKinney passed away September 20, 2013, at the age of 71. He was born April 28, 1942, to Issac Thomas and Clare Emmagene (Williams) Story in McKinney, Texas. Bobby married Carolyn Riney on June 1, 1963, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Pilot Point, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of McKinney. Bobby had a passion for his pocket knife collection and musical instruments. He was a beloved husband, father, son and good friend.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Story of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Stephanie Story of Denton, Texas and mother, Clare Emmagene Williams of Gainesville, Texas.
Bobby was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Story and father, Issac Thomas Story.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 23, 2013 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will be held 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery in Pilot Point. The family will receive friends during a visitation Sunday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
