Bobby Malcolm “Butch” Marshall, Sr., of Pottsboro, Texas, passed away April 6, 2010, in Denison, Texas. Butch was born July 18, 1935 in McKinney, Texas, to Joe Ware and Fannie (Redden) Marshall. He resided in Pottsboro and retired after 52 years working as a milkman. Butch enjoyed family, friends, and fishing. He was a member of Chambersville United Methodist Church in Chambersville, Texas. He is survived by his children, Robin Garza and husband, Felix of McKinney, Texas, Lisa Blakley and husband, Mike of Sadler, Texas, Mike Hendricks and wife, Paula of Denison, Texas, Bobby Marshall and wife, Angie of Southmayd, Texas, and Joe Marshall and wife, Melony of Pottsboro, Texas; fourteen grandchildren, Felix Garza, Jr., Lisa Garza, Krystal Valentine, Rachel Blakley, Christopher Hendricks, Chad Hendricks, Michelle Hendricks, Joseph Hendricks, Bryan White, Jessica White, Magen Marshall, Kirsten Marshall, Bobby Malcolm Marshall, III, and Zander Marshall; eleven great-grandchildren, Skyler Garza, Katelyn Garza, Jayden Garza, Destiny Valentine, Avrie Valentine, Collen Valentine, Kadence Valentine, Kensley Hendricks, Cailey Hendricks, Kamryn Luper, and Addison Luper; and sister, Dolores Gilbert of Gilmer, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Eddie Marshall, Maurice Marshall, and Wayne Marshall. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 9, 2010, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Rev. Gerald Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Chambersville Cemetery in Chambersville, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the funeral home.
