Bobby Charles Lawson

Mr. Bobby Charles Lawson, age 65, of Allen, Texas, passed away January 31, 2006, in Irving, Texas. He was born April 30, 1940, in McKinney, Texas, to William Farris and Gertrude Marie (Wylie) Lawson. On June 26, 1959, he married Mildred Janette Fort in Princeton, Texas. He graduated from Princeton High School in 1958, and attended Grayson County College. Mr. Lawson was an engineering technician at Texas Instruments. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, Princeton Lodge #1436 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton. After retirement, Bobby and Janette enjoyed traveling for 6 years in the U.S. and Canada. He is survived by his wife, Janette Lawson of Allen, Texas; daughter, Annette Mitchell and husband, Tommy of Shawnee, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kristin Mitchell and Jennifer Mitchell of Shawnee, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Calista, Riley and Kyndall; brother, Billy Lawson and wife, Malinda of Hugo, Oklahoma; sister, Peggy Marie Head and husband, Jim of Greenville, Texas; and was well blessed with brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the charity of choice or to the Bull Creek Cowboy Church, P. O. Box 417, Lone Oak, TX 75453. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 2, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Mike Moss and Rev. Gerald Colbert officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
