Bobbie J. Albrecht, age 88, of Plano, Texas, passed away March 2, 2014. She was born on February 25, 1926, in Oklahoma to Roy Sampson, Sr. and Mabel (Howard) Sampson. On May 2, 1943, Bobbie married Arthur Albrecht, in Reno, Nevada. She was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in El Paso, Texas for many years.
She is survived by her children, Bobby Albrecht and wife Debbie of Plano, Texas, Jan Amsberry and husband Larry of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Phil Albrecht and wife Debbie of Grand Prairie, Texas; grandchildren, Bob Amsberry, Phil Holbert, Aaron Albrecht, Shannon Albrecht and Taylor Albrecht; great-grandchildren, Neil Amsberry, Dustin Holbert and Katrina Holbert; brothers, Clarence Sampson of New Boston, Texas, Danny Sampson and Eddie Sampson both of Houston, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mabel Sampson; husband, Arthur Albrecht; and older brother, Roy Sampson, Jr.
A graveside service will be held1:00 pm, Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas.
