Mr. Bob Lewis, age 73, of McKinney, Texas passed away October 7, 2006, in Princeton, Texas. He was born October 24, 1932, in McKinney to Jim M. and Jewell (Watkins) Lewis. On March 12, 1951, he married Mary Alice Jenkins in Madill, Oklahoma. Mr. Lewis was the owner of Davenport Properties in Dallas, Texas. He was a member of the St. Johns Lodge #51 in McKinney and a member of the Eastern Star. He was also a member of the First Christian Church of McKinney. Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Mary Lewis of McKinney; daughters, Debbie Edge and husband, Randy of Talco, Texas and Mariglyn Williams and husband, Glenn of Bonham, Texas; three grandsons, Cody Self of Tira, Texas, Jim Williams and wife, Robin of Bonham and Joe Bob Self and wife, Sherry of Sulphur Bluff, Texas; three great grandchildren, Taylor, Karlie and Ty Self; brother, J.W. Lewis and wife, Bonnie of Burleson, Texas; son-in-law, Joe Self of Tira; nieces, nephews, in laws, and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Steve Williams; one great granddaughter, Tannia Self; and two nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. David Meeks and Dr. Neill Grimes officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday evening starting at 6:30 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
