Blanche Eva Schartz, age 68, of McKinney, Texas, passed away May 31, 2010, in Dallas, Texas. Blanche was born April 16, 1942, in Pipestone, Minnesota, to Willard and Eva (Van De Kieft) Kludt. Blanche moved to Wichita, Kansas when she was five years old. She attended schools in Wichita, raised her family, and began working for J C Penney in 1975. Blanche moved to Texas in 1984 where she continued working for J C Penney in various capacities until her retirement. Blanche enjoyed shopping and interior decorating. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in McKinney where she was very active in her small group bible study and women’s bazaar. She is survived by her children, Tammy Gilboux and husband, Steve of Plano, Texas and Brian Freese and wife, Linda of Granger, Indiana; grandchildren, Christopher Goodall of Plano, Texas, Tyler Freese and Rachel Freese, both of Granger, Indiana; mother, Eva Regeon of Pipestone, Minnesota; special companion, Jim Kemper; and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and husband, Dennis Schartz. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 4, 2010, at Trinity Presbyterian Church in McKinney, Texas. Entombment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m., Thursday afternoon at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
