Billy Ray Roach, age 76, of McKinney, Texas, passed away July 12, 2008, in McKinney. Billy Ray was born March 22, 1932 in McKinney, Texas, to William and Phoebe (Ball) Roach. He married Joyce Dean Hartley on March 4, 1950, in Durant, Oklahoma. Billy Ray was a supervisor for Texas Textile Mill. He later retired as an assembler for Oil Well Supplies in Garland, Texas. Billy Ray was a former member of High Pointe Church of Christ in McKinney and a current member of Kingston Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Joyce of McKinney, Texas; son, Kenny Lynn Roach and his wife, Billie Rae of Culleoka, Texas; daughter, Donna Fawcett and her husband, Ed of McKinney; granddaughter, Joy Gail Fawcett of McKinney; brother, George Erwin Roach and his wife, Jayne of Tishomingo, Oklahoma; sister, Geraldine Overstreet, also of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Phoebe Roach and sister, Earlene James. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, July 14, 2008, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas with Brother Rick Henslee officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 6:30 – 8:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
