Funeral Services for Billy Pat Massey, 88 year old Leonard resident, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday October 19, 2017 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Charles Wrenn will officiate. Burial will be in the Leonard Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday October 18, 2017.
Billy was born October 6, 1929 at Chickasha, Oklahoma. His parents were Hugh L. Sr. and Ola Erwin Massey. He married Merita Ann Dillard February 21, 1951 at Snyder. He worked as a manager in the oil industry,was a member of the Methodist Church and served his country as a member of the United States Army. He passed away Sunday October 15, 2017 at the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center of McKinney. He is survived by his daughters: Susan Little of Leonard, Kathy Mihecoby and husband, Kelly of Midland, Pam Jividen and husband, Butch of Andrews and Tammy Bernal of Andrews; his grandchildren: Jayme and Sarah Little of Trenton, Seandee and Kanyun Reagan of Leonard, Kelli and Gabe Gonzalez, Kory and Crystal Mihecoby and Billy Joe and Loni Jividen, all of Midland, Randee and Chris Pitkin and Whitnee Fierro, all of Andrews; his great grandchildren: Jaiden and Jaycee Boucher, Lucchese Reagan, Ella Little, Trevor and Trent Gonzalez, Mason and Makenzie Mihecoby, Aubree and Kelby Pitkin, and Wyatt Massey Jividen and one on the way; his brother: Kenneth Massey of Georgetown; his brothers-in-law: Ray Christopher of Fort Worth and Joe Shannon of Eastland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by six sisters and one brother.
