Funeral services for Billy Clark, “B.C.”, Dunmon, 72 year old Leonard resident, are scheduled for Thursday April 7th at 11 A.M. at the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Leonard. Rev. Leonard Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in the Long Cemetery at Powderly, Texas. Family visitation will be Wednesday April 6th from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. B.C. was born January 1, 1939 at Powderly, Texas. His parents were William J. and Willie Mae Clark Dunmon. He married Rosemary Gann September 19, 1964 at Dallas. He graduated from Powderly High School and served in the Army National Guard being deployed during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He worked for many years as a Custom Home Builder. He passed away Monday April 4th at his residence after a long fight with cancer. He is survived by his son: Clark Dunmon of Leonard; his son and daughter-in-law: Lance and Tammy Dunmon of Leonard; his grandson and wife: Brandon and Angela Dunmon of Leonard; his granddaughters: Kayliegh Wilkins of Kingston, OK and Brittany Thacker of Leonard; his great-grandchildren: Brenlen and Brenley Dunmon and Damien Brown of Leonard; his sister-in law: Clione Ramos of Durant, OK and Farene Freeman of Denison. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Martha Dowdy, Foy Jordan and Nell Saffell and one granddaughter, Sidney.
