Billie Louise Sherrin, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2009 at the age of 73. She was born August 23, 1936 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Grovie Wilma (Sorrels) and Jon William Chaffin. On February 25, 1953, she married Melvin Sherrin in Ada, Oklahoma. Louise worked in the Insurance Industry as a Secretary. Louise is survived by her husband, Melvin Sherrin of Dallas, Texas; son, Robert Allen Sherrin and his wife, Charlotta of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Eula Rainey and her husband, A.Q. of Richardson, Texas, Edith Potter and her husband, Jeff of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Lauretta Chaffin of Garland, Texas, Barbara Landers and her husband, Ed of Okemah, Oklahoma, Paulette Vick and her husband, Neal of Cado Gap, Arkansas, and Sherry Moon and her husband, Tom of Richardson, Texas; brother, Ianos Chaffin and his wife, Elaine of Wewoka, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews. Louise is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lula Mae Chaffin. A Funeral Service will be held at Little Elm Chapel located at the Little Elm Cemetery on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Pastor David Bronleewe officiating. Interment will follow at Little Elm Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a visitation at the Funeral Home in Frisco on Friday, September 25, 2009 beginning at 6:30 PM.
