Billie Kyle of Allen, Texas passed away December 19, 2014 at the age of 84. She was born October 6, 1930 to Jessie and Hettie (Nevil) Todd in Blue Ridge, Texas. Billie was a 1948 graduate of Princeton High School. She married Floyd Kyle on October 9, 1948 in McKinney, Texas. Billie worked several jobs before making her career with Texas Instruments and retiring after thirty-three years of service. She loved to quilt and fish. Her most enjoyment came from spending a few weeks’ vacation with her family in Colorado. She was of the Baptist faith.
Billie is survived by her husband, Floyd Kyle of Allen, Texas; son, Randall Kyle and wife Linda; grandsons, Preston and Parker Kyle; step-grandsons, Michael, Justin, and Christopher Britt also of Allen; brother, Doyle Todd and wife Shirley of Mineola, Texas; sisters, Neda Griffin of Plano, Texas, and Wilma Lou Karch of Mineola.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Hettie Todd; sons, Tommy Glenna and Dennis Kyle; daughter, Anita Kyle, and brother, Leon Todd.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Rowlett Cemetery in Plano, Texas with Danny Buster officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
