Billie Jean Stevens George, 86, of Westminster, Texas, passed away on July 19, 2015, in Rowlett, Texas. She was born May 13, 1929 in McKinney, Texas, to Cecil Cline and Willie Jewel McDonough Stevens. She married James Doyle George on July 3, 1948 in McKinney, Texas. She is survived by: Daughters: Susie and husband Jesse Ingram of Van Alstyne, Texas; Becky and husband Bennie Hall of Sherman, Texas; Ginger and husband Dub Douphrate of Rockwall, Texas. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, son, Mike George and daughter, Linda Williams.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Blue Ridge Cemetery in Blue Ridge, Texas. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home, 107 N. Washington Street, Farmersville, Texas. Eulogy will be presented by daughter, Becky Hall.
