Mr. Bill Kennedy, age 79, of McKinney, Texas passed away March 13, 2011, at the Medical Center of McKinney. He was born on September 17, 1931, in McKinney to Ruby Edgar and Evalou (Renfro) Kennedy. On July 7, 1951, he married Daisy Jennings in McKinney. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired fireman from the Dallas Fire Department. Bill was of the Church of Christ faith. He loved to play music with his friends. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Daisy of McKinney; daughters, Donna Gooch of Princeton, Texas and Kathy Wilson of McKinney; grandchildren, Steven Wilson of Frisco, Texas, Greg Gooch of McKinney, Sheena Gooch and Shasta Gooch both of Plano, Texas; great granddaughters, Carly Gooch of McKinney and Shaylee Branson of Plano; niece, Renee Pentecost of Garland, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends. His parents; and 2 brothers preceded him in death. A graveside service will be held a 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
