Betty Lou Key Withrow was born May 2, 1929 in Trenton, Texas to George Key and Oneta Sanderson Key. She married Wendell Lloyd Withrow on September 7, 1946 at Trenton, Texas. She died Friday, November 26, 2010 at Medical Center of Plano in Plano, Texas at the age of 81. She was a resident of Plano, Texas. She is survived by daughter, Carol Withrow of Florida; son, Steve Withrow and wife Maritza of Allen; granddaughter, Lesley Rolandt and husband Mike of Savannah; granddaughter, Kristy Junco and fiancé Chris Bradshaw of Houston. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, November 29, 2010 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Whitewright, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Houston Garner. Burial will follow at Burns Cemetery in Trenton, Texas. Pallbearers will be Steve Withrow, Don Withrow, Larry Withrow, Mike Rolandt, Chris Bradshaw, and Efrain Moreno. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home, at their convenience, on Monday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during visitation on Monday, November 29, 2010 from 1:00pm until service at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Whitewright, Texas. Betty was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother and friend. As a child of the depression, she never took anything for granted. She had a quick wit and dry humor that would make anyone feel at ease. She was nurturing, humble and had an ability to love others as if they were all her own. Betty made an undeniable impact on the lives of those around her and will always be remembered. Although her family misses her laughter, hugs and smile, we are comforted as she is reunited with the love of her life in heaven.
