Betty Jane Gozzo of Frisco Texas passed away on November 25, 2010 in Plano, Texas at the age of 88. Betty passed of natural causes in her sleep at Sunrise on Thanksgiving with her youngest son and daughter-in-law by her side. She was born on December 11, 1921 in La Porte, Indiana to Nelson and Claire Wright where she grew up and later returned to and enjoyed many years on Clear Lake in Indiana. Betty spent most of her life with her 3 sisters all of whom went on to become big band singers known as the ‘The Wright Sisters’ and sang with the ‘Claude Thornhill Band’. Betty was preceded in death by her husband in 1964, Conrad Joseph Gozzo, Sr. “Goz the Great”, the famous Trumpet Player. She is survived by her two sons, James N. Gozzo of Sacramento, California and Conrad J. Gozzo and his wife, Pamela, of Frisco, Texas and 4 Grandsons of California.
