Bertie Lee Harrell, age 82, of Plano, Texas, passed away January 28, 2009, in Plano. Bertie was born February 23, 1926, in Roby, Texas, to Elbert Cleveland and Clora (Davis) Driver. She married John Bill Harrell May 30, 1942, in Big Spring, Texas. Bertie retired as a real estate agent in the Allen area. She enjoyed her friends at the Senior Citizen Center in Plano and was a member of Hunters Glen Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Johnny R. Harrell of Fort Mohave, Arizona, and Teddy L. Harrell and his wife, Suzanne Harrell of Allen, Texas; daughter, Brenda Wright and her husband, Sam Wright of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Angie Eggleston, Johnny Ray Harrell, Jr., Paige Cockroft, Brice Harrell, and DeDe Wright; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Bill Harrell in 1993, three sisters, and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, January 31, 2009, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Pastor Ed Fleming officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home.
