Bertha “Betty” Radke of McKinney, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 27, 2015 after a short illness. She was born on October 30, 1919 in Malone, Texas. Betty married Milton Radke on November 11, 1937. She lived most of her life in Hill County before moving to Plano where she was a member of the West Plano Presbyterian Church. Betty was active for years in the Women’s Bible Study group there and the Collin County Home Demonstration Organization.
She is survived by her son, Jack Radke and wife Kym; daughter, Carolyn Helton and husband Gene all of McKinney; grandchildren, Nicki Helton of Richardson, Stacey Helton of Wylie, Lauren Leick and husband Todd of McKinney; Farren Radke of McKinney, and Carson Radke of Dallas; blessed with five great-grandchildren, Kade, Blake and Ryan Helton and Connor and Ryder Leick
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-six years, Milton Radke; infant daughter, Betty JoAnn; mother, Rosa Piel Scheu, and father, Fritz Scheu.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 30, 2015 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas with Rev. Dr. David Batchelder officiating. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Sunday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
