IN LOVING MEMORY

Benjamin "Ben" Donahue

Oct 24 1995 - Jan 19 2016

Benjamin “Ben” Andrew Donahue, age 20, of Little Elm, Texas passed away on January 19, 2016 in The Colony, Texas. He was born on October 24, 1995 in Longmont, Colorado to Tricia Ann (Miller) and Joseph Francis Donahue, III. Ben worked as Head Cook and Cutter at Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q in Denton, Texas.

Ben was taken from us before he had a chance to blossom into his full potential.  He was loved by all that were fortunate enough to have known him. He had a vibrant spirit that was as infectious as his smile and laughter. We remember his strength and loyalty, as he was always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Ben cared with his whole heart. Whatever he did, Ben was all in, whether on the soccer field, or supporting his younger sister, Emma, on the cheer floor.  Through his sense of humor and positive outlook on life, we were able to create wonderful memories. With Ben’s passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him everyday, we find peace in knowing that following Ben’s wishes, he helped sustain the lives of many others through organ donation.

Ben will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.  He was the kind of young man that anyone would be privileged to know and proud to call son, brother, grandson, and friend.

Ben is survived by his parents, Joe and Tricia Donahue of Little Elm, Texas; siblings, Dezman Schaal-Donahue of Emerald Isle, North Carolina and Emma Donahue of Little Elm, Texas; grandparents, Victoria and Jeff Miller of Thornton, Colorado and Joe and Dolores Donahue of Longmont, Colorado; great-grandmother, Marla Fogle of Ravenna, Ohio; girlfriend Paisley Cochran of Frisco, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at Preston Trail Community Church, 8055 Independence Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75035, on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at 12:00 pm.  A reception will follow the service with food provided by Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q.
