Ben Duvall Estes, III, age 41, of Plano, Texas passed away on January 31, 2009. He was born on July 14, 1967 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ben Duvall, Jr. and Shirley L. (Kay) Estes. On May 21, 2005 he married Andrea Anne Scates in Plano, Texas. He was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He loved music, Beatles, Sammy Hagar, Van Halen and Paul Rogers to name a few, and enjoyed debating the details of music and politics. Ben was very adept mechanically. He was a free spirit and loved to celebrate life. He had a very calming presence and was kind, giving and selfless. Ben was a great and loving father, husband, son, brother and uncle. He had a big heart, yet was very modest. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Estes; son, Ben Duvall Estes, IV; parents, Ben, Jr. and Shirley Estes; mother-in-law, Patricia Scates; sister, Kelley Anderson and husband Alan; brother-in-law, Aaron Scates and wife Kristi; nieces, Lauren Anderson, Maci Scates and Isabel Scates. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2009, at the Grace United Methodist Church in Frisco, Texas. Arrangements were made under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
