Beatrice Willard Burns, age 89, of Wylie, Texas, passed away October 29, 2013, in Wylie. Beatrice was born August 17, 1924, in Farmersville, Texas, to John Henry and Nellie (Owens) Densmore. She married William Kenneth Burns on August 27, 1945, in McKinney, Texas. Beatrice was a nurse for many years.
She is survived by her nieces, Mavis Ramey of McKinney, Texas, Beverly Massey of Leonard, Texas, and Judy Evans of Anna, Texas; and nephews Jimmy Callahan of Longview, Texas and John Densmore of Durant, Oklahoma.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
