Barbara Louise McPherson Walker was born October 5, 1943 at Okmulgee, Oklahoma to James Byron McPherson and Georgia Crutchmer. She married John R. Walker on September 18, 1978 at Greenville, Texas. She died Saturday, May 8, 2010 at her residence in Tom Bean, Texas at the age of 66. She is survived by husband, John Walker of Tom Bean; daughter, Roberta Wiggs of Tom Bean; daughter, Lori Montgomery of Tom Bean; daughter, Debra Akers of Van Alstyne; son, Ricky Wiggs of Tom Bean; son, John Walker, Jr. of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Thompson of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Beverly Sue Patrick. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Tom Bean, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Stan McNutt. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 6-8pm at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Tom Bean, Texas.
