Artie Fay Bell, age 83, of Garland, Texas, passed away May 13, 2011, in Rowlett, Texas. Artie was born March 29, 1928, in Greenville, Texas, to Malcolm and Sally (Elliott) Jones. She married W. T. Bell in 1954, in Childress, Texas. Artie grew up in Greenville and later moved to Quanah, Texas. She moved to the Dallas area in 1955. Artie enjoyed sewing and taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband, W. T. Bell of Garland, Texas; children, Linda Bilderback and husband, Dave of Garland, Texas, JoAnn Tutt also of Garland, Judy Campbell and husband, Brice of Hico, Texas, and Carl Bell and wife, Tammy of Garland, Texas; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Katherine Langford of Quanah, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, and one daughter. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., Saturday evening at the funeral home.
