Arthur Lavan Bone, age 70, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on November 22, 2015. He was born October 20, 1945 in Searcy, Arkansas to Arthur Floyd and Alma Mildred (Mitchell) Bone. On May 2, 1969, Arthur married Denise Francine Markee in Great Falls, Montana. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Arthur was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, McKinney, 3rd Ward.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Bone of McKinney, Texas; children, Cassandra Bone of McKinney, Texas, Donovan Bone and wife Celeste of Allen, Texas; sisters, Carolyn Burleson and Margaret Landis both of Bald Knob, Arkansas.
Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Floyd and Alma Mildred Bone and sister, Patsy Wallace.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 30, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2801 Eldorado Parkway in McKinney, Texas. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday afternoon at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held Sunday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
