Funeral Services for Archie D. Norman, 92 year old Leonard resident, are scheduled for 5:00 P.M. Monday June 2, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 1540 State Highway 78 at Bonham. Bishop Cliff Abbott will officiate.

Burial will be on Tuesday June 3, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6 until 8 P.M. Sunday June 1, 2014 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard.

Mr. Norman was born December 18, 1921 at Leonard. His parents were Thomas Franklin and Nolie King Norman. He was a Leonard High School Graduate and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served his country as a member of the Army of the United States in World War II in the Pacific theatre and earned a Purple Heart. He married Ann Norman, January 22, 1947 at El Paso. She preceded him in death April 30, 2010. Mr. Norman passed away on Memorial Day Monday May 26, 2014 at Legend Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Greenville.

Mr. Norman is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law: Richard and Vada Norman of Spanish Folk, Utah and Robert and Jane Norman of Leonard; his 10 grandchildren: Aaron Norman of Westminster, Colorado, Sharon Norman and Ryan Norman of Spanish Fork, Utah, Summer Tustison of Houston, Texas, Jessica Tucker of Herriman, Utah, Christopher Norman of Rexburg, Idaho, Andrea Norman of Spanish Fork, Utah, Daniella Norman of Bryan, Texas, Jordan Norman of Washington State and Lorane Hansen of Clinton, Utah; his 3 great grandchildren: Charles Tucker and Alice Tucker of Herriman, Utah and Olivia Jane Norman of Westminster, Colorado.

In addition to his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters. He was the last of eleven children.
