Mr. Anselmo “Jack” Garza, age 72 of McKinney, TX, passed away December 11, 2004 in McKinney. He was born September 19, 1932 to Manuel and Hurlinda (Rincon) Garza. Mr. Garza served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. On September 30, 1956, he married Freadine Butler and his occupation was foreman in the utility construction industry. He was a member of Survivors include children, Michael Garza and wife, Rhonda, Yolanda Thompson and husband, Mark, and Brenda Wood, all of McKinney; 7 grandchildren, Crystal, Jennifer, Cassey, Jon, Stacey, Callie, and Jaclyn; 6 great-granddaughters, Rachel, Vanessa, Faith, Kaitlin, Falyn, and Bailey ; brother, Antonio Garza of El Paso, TX; sisters, Lydia Meraz of Melissa, TX, Evangelina Lopez of Aubrey, TX, Lenora Biscarro of McKinney, and Espenranza Galliegos of Florida. His wife, Freadine Garza; parents, Manuel R. Sr. and Herlinda R. Garza; sisters, Adelaida G. Mounz, Elvira G. Cortez, and Estela G. Sanchez; and brother, Manuel Garza, Jr. precede him in death. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
