Annie V King

Annie V King, born February 7, 1924 to Walter Hubbard and Rosa Mae Stallcup in Celina, Texas. Annie V went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 18, 2004. She is survived by her two children, daughter, Debbie Alderson and husband, Pat; and son, Allen King and wife, Marilyn; six grandchildren, Michael Alderson and wife, Meagan, Molly Alderson, Matthew Alderson, Mark Alderson, Katie King and Preston King; great grandson, Lucas Alderson; brother, Dr. Vance Stallcup and sister, Francis Reeves. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tracy D. “Billy” King, her parents, and brothers Weldon Stallcup and John Stallcup. Annie V is a graduate of Celina High School and what is now the University of North Texas where she received a Bachelors Degree in Education. Annie V served as an elementary school teacher in several Texas school districts including Frisco before becoming a full-time homemaker with the birth of her first child. Annie V and husband Billy, a long-time Frisco banker, were married for 53 years prior to Billy’s death in August of 2003. Annie V was very supportive and involved with Billy in community activities during their life together in Frisco. A devoted wife and mother, Annie V was especially fond of spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also very much enjoyed being with her friends and participating in two local bridge clubs and a book club. She was a person of deep religious faith and was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Frisco until the time of her death. The family will receive friends at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2004. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on February 21, 2004 at the First United Methodist Church of Frisco with interment to follow at the Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Frisco Building Fund or the charity of your choice.
