A Funeral Service for Annie Jo Tyler Ross, 86 year old Leonard resident, is scheduled for Sunday May 28, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Charles Wrenn will officiate. Burial will be in the Leonard Cemetery. Family viewing and visitation will be Sunday May 28, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. until Service Time.
Annie Jo was born February 24, 1931 at Bonham. Her parents were Gerida Rogers Tyler and Floyd Benjamin Tyler, Sr. She married Jack Donald Ross July 29, 1949 at Bonham. She was a graduate of Bonham High School, as well as Draughon’s Business College of Ft. Worth. She was a member of the Bridge Club, the Literary Club and the First Baptist Church of Leonard where she worked with the GA program for many years. She was also a member of the Leonard PTA for many years, even serving as its president. She passed away at Greenville Health and Rehabilitation in Greenville Thursday May 25, 2017.
Annie Jo is survived by her husband: Jack Donald Ross of Leonard; her sons and daughters-in-law: Ricky Ross and Donna of Bailey and Robin Ross and Kayla of Madisonville, Arkansas; her brother: Floyd Tyler Jr of Arlington; her six grandchildren and her 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Randy Ross, and a brother, John Caleb Tyler.
