Annie R. Jenkins, who was born June 21, 1934 in Marianna, Florida, passed away on May 17, 2004. She married Alvin B. Jenkins on December 22, 1953. Ruth had three children and four grandchildren. She supported her husband while he served in the U. S. Air Force for 28 years. They traveled throughout the United States and also lived in numerous states in the U.S. One of her greatest achievements was the fact that all three of her children completed college at three different universities. Marcus Jenkins, her grandson, will be graduating from the Air Force Academy on June 2, 2004. Marcus followed in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps as a 3rd generation Air Force Officer. Ruth was truly a loving and caring wife and mother. Visitation will be held in the chapel of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow – Frisco between 6:30 and 8:30 PM, Friday, May 21, 2004 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow in Frisco. A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM , Saturday with Rev. Tom Brown officiating. Interment will be at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco, Texas.
