Mrs. Anne Hill, age 74, of McKinney, Texas passed away on May 4, 2004 in McKinney. She was born on April 25, 1930, in Caruthersville, Missouri to Floyd and Martha (Cowan) Wilks. She married Dr. Mack Moran Hill on January 21, 1952 in Treasure Island, San Francisco, California. She was a homemaker and was a member of the First Christian Church. She was a member of the Jeanne D’Arc Club. She attended the Southwestern College, which is now Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee and she also attended Julliard School of Music in New York City, New York. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Mack Hill of McKinney; daughter, Martha L. Davis also of McKinney; son, Ben Hill of Katy, Texas; granddaughters, Abby Davis of Okinawa, Japan and Meryl Davis of McKinney; grandsons, Austin Davis of McKinney, Chris Hill and Benje Hill both of Katy; and brother, Charles Wilks of Keller, Texas. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, May 7, 2004, at the First Christian Church with Dr. Neill Grimes officiating.
