Ann Raulston, age 69 of Plano, Texas, passed away August 9, 2011 in Plano. She was born January 24, 1942 to Monroe and Katie (Martin) Tackett in Princeton, Texas. Ann married William “Bill” Francis Raulston on November 20, 1982 in Dallas, Texas. She was of the Baptist faith. Ann retired from The Dallas Morning News after nearly 20 years as a typesetter. After retirement and the passing of Bill, she owned and operated the Curves fitness center on Central Expressway in Plano. Ann is survived by her daughter, Donna Annette Jones of Plano, Texas; stepdaughters, Jane Elaine Jones and husband Randy of Eugene, Oregon and Janice Brown and husband Dana of Grapevine, Texas; stepsons, Bruce Wayne Raulston of Dallas, Texas; Michael Scott Raulston and wife Mary of Henniker, New Hampshire; sisters, Dessie Morrison of Princeton, Texas and Lois Branch of Blue Ridge, Texas; brother, Henry Tackett of New Hope, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Raulston; parents, Monroe and Katie Tackett; brothers, Tolbert Tackett and Earnest Tackett. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Blue Ridge, Texas with Pastor Vernon Burgess officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Memorials may be made to the Susan G.
