Mrs. Angela Chan, of San Juan, Trinidad and Tobago, passed away on November 16, 2013, in Allen, Texas. She was born April 6, 1930 in Freeport, Trinidad & Tobago where she grew up. Angela married Unas Chan, and then moved to the town of San Juan. Our mother was a very strong and spiritual woman; she fiercely loved her family for they were her greatest joy. She was a very hard worker and always had an entrepreneurial mind. She started off with just a few yards of cloth and went on to open her own successful garment business "Angie's Garment Factory". Angela was well respected by her business peers, customers and neighbors and was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Annette Lall of Rockwall, Texas, Lynette Casiano and husband Richard of Norco, California, Dr. Kenneth Chan and wife Shirley of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Rudolph Chan and wife Radica of San Juan, Trinidad and Tobago, Michael Chan and wife Susie of Garland, Texas, Pastor Rodney Chan and wife Lezana of Santa Cruz, Trinidad and Tobago, Jenifer Persad and husband Sait of Sachse, Texas, Reanna Chan of Spring, Texas and Angelique Chan of Allen, Texas; twenty four grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; brother Sonny Harridial, Kemraj Pooran and Sonnylal Baldeo.

Angela is preceded in death by her husband Unas Chan, son Anthony Chan, great granddaughter Madison Casiano, three sisters and her parents. 

A memorial and graveside service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2013 at Ridgeview Memorial Park in McKinney, Texas with Pastor Rodney Chan officiating.
