Mrs. Amelia Williams-Lively, age 86, of McKinney, Texas passed away March 31, 2004, in McKinney. She was born January 12, 1918, in McKinney to Calvin and Refuge (Davis) Smith. She married Willie Williams in McKinney. Mrs. Lively was a housekeeper and a member of the First Baptist Church on Drexel Street, McKinney where she served on the Usher Board. She is survived by her sons, Billy Williams and wife, Linda of Allen, Texas and Berry Allen Williams of Garland, Texas; daughters, Bernice Williams-Maxwell of McKinney and Willie Mae Williams-Singleton and husband, Oscar of Houston, Texas; 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Willie Williams and her second husband, Commodore Lively; twin boys, Harry and Larry Williams; parents, Calvin and Refuge Smith; and brothers, Marion J. Smith and Calvin Smith, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 5, 2004, at the First Baptist Church on Drexel Street in McKinney with Pastor Lee Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
