Alpha Joyce Carden, age 60, of Allen, Texas passed away February 11, 2008. She was born October 30, 1947, in Lamesa, Texas to Ollie and Maggie (Atkins) Carden. She is survived by her children, Sandy Pedigo and husband, Jeff of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Michael Collins of Allen, Texas, James Collins of Whitney, Texas and Thomas Collins of Allen, Texas; eleven grandchildren; brothers, David Carden of Como, Texas and Calvin Carden of California. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Raymond Carden. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 17, 2008, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Danny Buster officiating. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Saturday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
