A Memorial Service for Aline Vivian Cline Smith, 96 year old Leonard resident, is scheduled for Tuesday July 6, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Leonard Church of Christ Fellowship Building. Mrs. Smith was born December 28, 1913 at Battle Axe, Texas. Her parents were Charlie Albert and Vivian Valentine Edgar Cline. She married George Truitt Smith March 27, 1932 at Durant, Oklahoma. In addition to being a homemaker, she worked for a number of years as a sales clerk. She was a member of the Leonard Church of Christ. She passed away Thursday June 24, 2010 at the Leonard Manor. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Marcia Lynn and Harold Sneed of Leonard; her son: Larry Smith of Leonard; her three grandchildren: Carol Dutilly, Tracy Hampton and Lisa Smith all of Leonard; her great grandson: Shane Peterson of Bonham; her sister-in-law: Lucy Cline of Leonard; a niece: Billie Piper of Wolfe City; two nephews: Ray Cline of Lewisville and Mickey Trusty of Sulphur Springs. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers: R.L. “Bud” Cline and Bobby Ingram; a sister: Pauline Cline and a nephew: Monty Trusty.
