Albert Allen Jouglard

Mr. Albert Allen Jouglard, age 75, of McKinney, Texas was called home by his Lord on December 6, 2008, after a long and valiant battle with an illness. He was born on August 30, 1933, in White Castle, Louisiana to Charles Francis Jouglard, Sr. and Adele Marie (Juneau) Jouglard. On July 2, 1952, he married Evelyn DeLois Barron in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Jouglard proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. While he was an active member of the Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving, Texas, he served as a deacon. He also taught Sunday school and was involved with coaching the church basketball and baseball teams. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Evelyn D. Jouglard; daughter, Debra Jouglard and her husband, Ken Russell of Sherman, Texas; son, Greg Jouglard and wife, Donna of Cypress, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends. Mr. Jouglard was preceded in death by his son, Larry Jouglard; brothers, Cleveland, Alvin, Robert, and Charles Francis Jouglard, Jr.; and sister, Doris Crumby. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 11, 2008, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Danny Buster officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
