Agnes Anne Gollery of Allen, Texas passed away March 4, 2015 at the age of 79. She was born July 11, 1935 to William J. Gollery and Elizabeth (Henneman) Gollery in Baltimore, Maryland. Agnes was a social worker for the State of Delaware for many years. She enjoyed the beach, reading and loved her family. Her church was of a great importance to her. Agnes was a member of Sun Creek United Methodist Church in Allen for six years.
She is survived by her children, Stephen Couzens and wife Kathleen in Allen, Texas, Tom Couzens, III and wife Betsy of Elk Grove, California, Colleen Ellis and husband Jeff of Salisbury, Maryland, Susan Rivers and husband Bob of Millersville, Maryland, and Anne Chandler and husband Eddie of Berlin Maryland; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and brothers, William Gollery of Keller, Texas, Francis Gollery, Bob Gollery, and Thom Gollery all of Baltimore, Maryland.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Thomas Couzens, Jr.; and sister, Mary Patricia Howard.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at SunCreek United Methodist Church, 1517 W. McDermott Drive, Allen, Texas 75013 with Dr. Keith Boone officiating.
