Adaline Marie Sirkel, age 84, of McKinney, Texas, passed away August 13, 2007, in McKinney. She was born on October 16, 1922, in Saskatchewan, Canada, to Arthur Harrison and Vivian (Carter) Wilcox. In August 1955, she married Willie Wright Sirkel, Jr. in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Sirkel worked thirty-five years at Texas Instruments Richardson, Texas plant. She was a member of the Lutheran faith. She is survived by her sons, Bill Sirkel and his wife Juana of McKinney and Donald Burrows and his wife Sue of Bemidji, Minnesota; daughters, Claudia Woodson and her husband John of Irving, Texas and Fredna Posey and her husband Gene of Wylie, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchldren; and one great-great-grandchild. Preceding her in death were her husband, Willie Wright Sirkel, Jr.; daughter, Patti Stell and her husband Danny; grandson, Jeff Stell; brothers, Delos Wilcox, Raymond Wilcox, Donald Wilcox, and Harold Wilcox; and sister, Gwen Swofford. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at Ridgeview Memorial Park with Pastor John Woodson officiating. Family and friends are invited to the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home at their convenience on Tuesday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
