Mrs. Ada Osborne Pickens, age 93, of Plano, Texas, passed away May 21, 2005, at her granddaughter’s home in Saint Jo, Texas. She was born on December 10, 1911, in Hoffman, Oklahoma, to Jonathan H. and Drusilla (Knight) Osborne. She married John H. Pickens. She owned and managed a hotel for many years and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her granddaughter, Carol Ann Nunneley of Saint Jo, Texas; grandsons, John Stephen Evans and wife, Stephanie of Carrollton, Texas, and Robert Wayne Evans and wife, Barbara of Glendale, Arizona; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Ida West of Tyler, Texas; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Her parents, Jonathan H. and Drusilla Osborne; husband, John H. Pickens; daughter, Patsy Ruth Evans; and granddaughter, Kimberly Ann Nunneley preceded her in death. A graveside will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at Ridgeview Memorial Park with Rev. Anita Williams officiating.
