A. M. Warrick, Jr., age 88, of Highland Village, Texas, passed away May 8, 2008, in Lewisville, Texas. A. M. was born May 1, 1920 in Waco, Texas, to A. M. and Grace Pearl (Scott) Warrick, Sr. He grew up in the Waco, Texas area. A. M. married Dorothy Whitlow on October 31, 1942 in Marlin, Texas. He was a dispatcher for Mobil Oil Corporation for thirty-six years. A. M. was also a beekeeper for many years and a member of the Baptist faith. He proudly served in the United States Army and the United States Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Warrick; children, Jerry Warrick and wife, Denise of Cleburne, Texas, Sheila Moore and husband, Harold of Lewisville, Texas, William Warrick and wife, Christine of Allen, Texas, Mark Warrick and wife, Liz of Westminster, Texas, Pam Warren and husband, Marshall of Copper Canyon, Texas, Paul Gene Warrick and wife, DeeDee of Cleburne, Texas, and Kimley Patterson and husband, Roy of Lewisville, Texas; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; brother, Ellis Wesley Warrick of Cego, Texas; sisters, Marylou Dayhoff of Robinson, Texas and Betty Jean Woody of Burleson, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, A. M. and Grace Warrick, Sr., two brothers, Lorraine and Jack, sister, Clara Mae King. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Monday, May 12, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Van Alstyne Cemetery in Van Alstyne, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Sunday evening beginning at 5:00 PM.
