Helen, we are keeping you and your family in our prayers, daily. We love you and cherish the memories that we have of our time spent with you and John. It was the Lord's will, I believe, that we were able to see John, just those few short weeks ago, and share some memories with him. Again, if there is anything at all that we can do, please don't hesitate to call. We love you, Roger and Pat Arnold, Portland, Oregon.

I will always know my Uncle John as an honest, hard working and kind man. There are too many nice memories from my childhood to count. Growing up it was great to spend time at Uncle John and Aunt Helen's house and hang out with Stephen and Brian. We will miss you Uncle John. But the measure of a man is the husband, father, (uncle), and friend to others that he was. By that measure, you will be with us forever. Much love to all the family.

David and I saw John as being a very personable fellow in that he made you feel comfortable when you were in his presence, making conversation easy and inviting. We don't ever remember him without a smile on his face, even when he was wearing a neck brace, which had to be very uncomforatble. I have heard it said that memories are the legacy of love. I know you must have treasury of memories to help comfort you at this time.

Helen, there are simply no words to tell you the sadness Buzz and I feel, not for John, but for those of us left behind (for now)! Our friendship has endured through 32 years. What laughter and special memories we've shared through these years. Praise be to God for life eternal through His Son! We will once again laugh together, but I know right now John is talking and cutting up with an angel! Love you so, Sandra and Buzz

Helen and boys; I am so sorry for your loss of John. John and I taught Sunday School together for a while and my favorite times with him were at the Barber Shop. It never took long to cut my hair so I would hang around swapping stories. John, a good man, will be missed.

The last couple of times I saw and visited with John, it was such a blessing. He truly understood that Christ was his life. I know that we will all see him again soon. I was thinking that he is now with his mother and father and with his brother, Milton and many others that went before him. This should be a celebration, even though he will be missed. With love in Jesus Christ. Florence
